What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll build and maintain client websites that perform as good as they look:
Design to Code
- Convert Figma or XD designs into responsive, pixel-perfect WordPress themes.
Custom Development
- Develop custom WordPress plugins and functionalities tailored to project requirements.
Performance & Security
- Ensure websites are fast, secure, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver top-quality work on schedule.
Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues quickly and efficiently.
Code Quality
- Maintain clean, well-structured, and well-documented code.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of custom work.
- Master front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and/or jQuery).
- Are proficient in back-end: PHP and MySQL.
- Build custom themes and plugins from scratch (not just modify templates).
- Deeply understand WordPress hooks, filters, and APIs.
- Work confidently from Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Pay strong attention to detail — your work is polished and professional.
- Communicate clearly and manage time effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience with WooCommerce, ACF, or Gutenberg blocks.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of website optimization and deployment best practices.
- Basic understanding of Git or version control workflows.
