- We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our fintech company’s digital presence.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engage customers, and enhance our market position.
- Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools) is essential to create compelling, visually consistent content that aligns with our branding goals.
- This role requires a deep understanding of fintech trends, digital storytelling, and audience engagement strategies to differentiate our brand in a competitive landscape.
Responsibilities of the Social Media Manager at O’Bounce Technologies
- Develop and implement a thorough social media plan that aligns with the company’s goals.
- Manage and expand presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
- Use Canva to develop branded, engaging visual assets like posts, infographics, and campaign materials.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams to showcase fintech innovations, products, and thought leadership.
- Track industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies for optimal reach and engagement.
- Manage paid social campaigns to increase awareness, generate leads, and drive conversions.
- Track, analyze, and report on key metrics like engagement, impressions, conversions, and brand sentiment.
- Engage with the online community (customers, influencers, partners) to enhance brand reputation.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting.
- Ensure that all social media activities comply with financial regulations and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- 1–3 years of social media management experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or startups.
- Proven ability to create and manage engaging campaigns that deliver measurable ROI.
- Strong experience with Canva (mandatory), Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of SEO, paid ads, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
- Familiarity with financial services compliance and customer engagement best practices.
