Bank of America Off-cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking.
The SSA Investment Banking Team is a sector-agnostic, regional coverage team, providing investment banking services to clients who have a focus on SSA markets outside of South Africa, including core markets like Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and opportunistically other markets.
SSA’s client base includes:
- Corporates (typically Local multi-country and Global Multinationals)
- Governments/Supranational
- Private Equity Firms
- Sovereign Wealth Funds.
The SSA Analyst programme provides an opportunity to work on landmark deals with impact in an exciting continent of strategic focus for BofA, with vast structural growth opportunities in key industries with significant financing needs (e.g. communications/technology, financial services/fintech, energy/mining, infrastructure, and consumer).

Eligibility Criterias for the Bank of America Off-Cycle Analyst Program 2026
- Candidates are required to have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- For candidates who have already graduated, the graduation date is required to be between January and September 2025.
- For candidates who are still pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, the completion time frame must be before January 2026.
- Completion means that you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation.
Please note that we reserve the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer.
- Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS point (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent
- Must be available to join the program from Monday 19th January for a period of six months.
- If candidates were to receive a full-time offer, then they must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2026.
- Please note that we are unable to offer any deferred start dates.
