LAUTECH Opens 2025/2026 Post-UTME & DE Screening Portal
This is to inform all prospective students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, who selected the institution as their first choice in the 2025/2026 UTME or Direct Entry (DE), that the admission portal will officially open from Friday, July 25 to Wednesday, August 20, 2025 for online registration.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
✅ UTME Candidates must score at least 170 in the 2025/2026 UTME.
✅ Candidates must upload their O’ Level results to JAMB CAPS before the deadline: 20th August, 2025.
✅ All applicants must be 16 years or older by 30th September, 2025.
📌ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
UTME Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
■Direct Entry (DE) Candidates must possess:
■ A university degree with at least Second Class Lower,
■ Or Upper Credit in ND, NCE with Merit, HND with Lower Credit, or JUPEB,
■ Plus five (5) relevant O’ Level credit passes.
■ Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science candidates must have all five credits in one sitting only.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Visit the LAUTECH application portal.
2. Pay ₦2,000 (application) + ₦3,000 (portal access) using an InterSwitch-enabled debit card.
3. Complete and submit the online form.
4. Upload a clear passport photo (JPEG, white background, max 20KB).
5. Review programme requirements and UTME subject combinations before applying.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
🔸 Candidates awaiting results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) may apply but must upload them to JAMB CAPS on or before August 20, 2025.
🔸 Mismatch in name, age, or state of origin across documents may lead to disqualification.
🔸 Admission will be based on 80% UTME score + 20% O’Level grades.
🔸 Offers of admission not accepted on JAMB CAPS within 3 weeks will be withdrawn.
📣 DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
DE applicants must:
● Obtain a DE form from JAMB,
● Submit academic transcripts to the Registrar at least one week before screening:

● Oral and Written Interviews hold on Monday, 25th August & Tuesday, 26th August, 2025 at The Hall, LAUTECH Campus, Ogbomoso.
● Failure to appear for interview = automatic forfeiture of admission.
