FACTS ABOUT THE FESSU-TECHTHOTH EKITI STATE STUDENTS’ DIGITAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT BOOTCAMP 1.0

1.  The Ekiti State Students’ Digital Skill Development Bootcamp 1.0 is a 100% free on-site (physical) training program for students and graduates of Ekiti State who are eager to learn digital skills. The training will take place in Ado-Ekiti.
2.  The first phase of the program is powered by the Federation of Ekiti State Students’ Union (FESSU) under the leadership of the National President, Comrade Benjamin Adekunle Onileowo, in partnership with TECHTHOTH, a technology firm dedicated to digital skill development for young people.
3.  Courses available in the first phase of this program include Web Development and Design, UI/UX Design, Graphic and Brand Design, Email Marketing, E-commerce Marketing, Copywriting, and Social Media Management.
4. Registration for the first phase (100% Physical) of the Ekiti State Students’ Digital Skill Development Bootcamp ends on July 14, 2024.

6. Training will commence on July 18, 2024, with a flag-off ceremony and interviews for successful applicants. Attendance is mandatory.
7.  The physical training will run for 1-3 months, depending on the type of skill.
8. After the skill development training, successful trainees will receive certification, monetization training on acquired skills, intensive post-training mentorship, internship opportunities, and support for the best students.

Additional Information:

1. This physical phase aims to test the responsiveness of Ekiti State students and graduates to skill development training for further upscaling.
2.  More skills and dual modes of training (virtual and physical) will be introduced in subsequent phases following the success of this first phase.
