Inbox Ghosts is a ghostwriting agency specializing in writing weekly email newsletters.
We are growing, therefore we need a few more writers to help us meet our client fulfillment needs.
Responsibilities
- Write weekly newsletters on behalf of our clients
How To Apply (READ THIS)
- Send a link to a three-minute (maximum) video that answers these 5 questions (instructions at the bottom)
- Send a writing sample that showcases your writing capability
- Applications without video submissions (instructions at the bottom) will not be considered.
- This will take about 5 minutes to complete.
Details
- Fully remote
- $20/ hour
- Position starts as a part-time probationary period and will eventually move towards a full-time position as you grow with the company
- You must have AT LEAST 15 hours/week minimum availability
- We’ve got more than 15 hours/week of work available, as you learn and become more comfortable with the position you can add more hours!
- We are flexible, but your schedule must overlap at least 6 hours within regular business hours. (8AM EST/PST- 6PM EST/PST)
- We prefer those with a defined work schedule. We value consistency and reliability! Ex: 9AM-5PM every day or 10AM-6PM every day.
- At first, you will start as an editor. Our team will provide you with a fully researched draft. Your task will be to improve the draft according to style and content guidelines.
- After a few successful edits, you’ll graduate to owning a client project from top to bottom. Topic selection, research, drafting, editing, and publishing.
Qualifications (non-negotiable)
- English fluency
- Must have a reliable computer with high-speed internet
- Availability during business hours
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- This role demands continuously meeting due dates
- If you do not meet due dates or tend to procrastinate, do not apply
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment.
- Able to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software.
- Able to collaborate and support fellow co-workers
Expectations
- Team communication via Slack and Email
- Project management via ClickUp
- Comfortable working 100% remotely
- Available work will increase with time, but it will start with only a few hours/week as we get you integrated into our pool of writing talent
- You have an “I can learn how to do anything” attitude
Bonus Skills
- Capable of witty/clever writing
- Subject matter knowledge in any of these categories eCommerce, Finance, Investing, Technology, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency
- You use Twitter and/ or Listen to podcasts
- You are familiar with Loom
- You can make memes

Writing Sample Instructions
- Attach your best writing to date!
- This could be anything from a college essay, a well-crafted email, or a blog post. We want to see that you have the ability to write!
